Hebrew Free Loan Association of Pittsburgh was proud to be among the organizations presenting at “Think Beyond the Bank: Alternative Funding for Your Small Business” on March 21, 2024 at the University of Pittsburgh Community Engagement Center in Homewood. Hosted by the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship and Riverside Center for Innovation, this free informative workshop offered small business owners an opportunity to hear from several local organizations about alternative finance resources available to them.

In addition to hearing from HFL Executive Director Amanda Hirsh about our interest-free loan program that can assist small business owners in starting or expanding their businesses, attendees heard from Amber Book of the Financial Empowerment Center; the Neighborhood Community Development Fund, represented by Denise Graham-Shealey; and many other local organizations that support small businesses in the Pittsburgh area.
